Mozilla will soon release Firefox 7 for its users. Earlier Mozilla used to release final builds after long time gaps but after Firefox 4 the company has started following a faster release cycle. This was done while keeping in mind the fast development of Google Chrome. Today they have released Firefox 7 after release of 6 beta versions. Currently it is available via their FTP site and soon they will make official announcement for it.

Bookmark and password changes now sync almost instantly when using Firefox Sync.
Added support for text-overflow: ellipsis
Added support for Web Timing Specification
Added an opt-in system for users to send performance data back to Mozilla to improve future versions of Firefox. This can be enabled by installing an add-on
Fixed several stability issues
